What the role is:As the community leadership development arm of the People\'s Association (PA), National Community Leadership Institute (NACLI) aims to equip our learners with the relevant skillsets and growth mindset so that they can contribute actively and effectively to the community building and citizen engagement efforts in Singapore. We are currently seeking interns to participate in the PA Structured Internship Programme with NACLI. The internship is a great opportunity for you to appreciate PA\'s mission of building and bridging communities. At the same time, you will gain industry exposure and practical skills through working on meaningful data-related projects/assignments which are aimed at supporting NACLI\'s capability building efforts.What you will be working on:The intern will be supporting the Learning Science & Systems (LS&S) team in the following areas: 1) Training Dashboards Design and Creation \xe2\x80\xa2 Engage NACLI staff and fellow PA stakeholders on dashboard requirements and needs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Make recommendations on dashboard design and data required as part of the NACLI analytics team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Process data, which includes cleaning and organising datasets for storage into relational database(s). \xe2\x80\xa2 Performs advanced analysis of training data using statistical methods and models \xe2\x80\xa2 Work on the design and development of relevant dashboards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Apply data visualisation techniques to summarise and present findings effectively. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review, refine and document data gathering and dashboard preparation processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assists in the preparation of comprehensive reports and visual representations of outcome measurement findings for internal and external stakeholders 2) NACLI\'s Overall Analytics and Planning Strategy \xe2\x80\xa2 Study the overall needs of data analytics and dashboard in NACLI to support the Institute\'s planning and decision making. \xe2\x80\xa2 Give inputs to the overall data and planning strategy together with the team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Suggest the various dashboards and analytics to support the different needs of the institute \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and document implementation process. Learning objectives include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Understand how data and analysis are applied in a training institute and the function it plays in organisational planning and decision making. \xe2\x80\xa2 Be exposed to the dynamic work environment, specifically in the area of learn and development, data analytics and data visualisation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in administrative processes and gain critical thinking skills through analysing and evaluating project issues and creating solutions to challenges. \xe2\x80\xa2 Gain communication skills through stakeholder engagement and collaborating with others to work toward a common goal.What we are looking for:Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Kindly note that the minimal commitment period is 12 weeks/3 months \xe2\x80\xa2 Adept in working with data using Microsoft Excel and advanced formulas \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous and proactive \xe2\x80\xa2 Good in working with and organising data \xe2\x80\xa2 Undergoing field of study related to Data Management, Data Analytics, or equivalent. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with data analytics tools such as Python, Tableau or equivalent. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess good written and verbal communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Students in relevant disciplines: Data Analytics, Business, Digital Innovation, Engineering & Science, Humanities & Social Sciences Please submit your application via this for https://go.gov.sg/nacli-internship-application-form Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
