Job Description

The student will be responsible to automate the generation of a KPI target planning system, and devise methods to drilldown to assist in root cause findings. In your role, you will get to work as a Data Automation Engineer in the Product Test Engineering (PTE) Department, responsible to innovate on new method of data management in order to optimize the performance of the automated target planning system.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

Devise methods to drilldown to identify gaps and weaknesses so as to assist with root cause findings

Develop and enhance on control limit proposal and impact simulation system

Be responsible for the Automation of Product Test Engineering Lot-on-hold Cycle Time target planning - to extract from various sources, including database and datamart and automate the data management for best performance

Internship Learning Outcomes:

Understand the main steps for Backend Final Test Production procedures for beginning, during test & end of test, and the subsequent data post-processing

Being a global/ cluster function, have the chance to interact with colleagues globally on the project details. You will also have the chance to collaborate with relevant IT colleagues.
Have the opportunities to hands on various programming languages (Python, SQL), software tools (Tableau, Alation, KNIME/ Denodo) and database concept.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

On track to attaining Masters / Bachelors in Information Technology, Computing Engineering/ Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering. No work experience is required.

Knowledge in programming language Python and SQL will be an advantage. Knowledge and interest in visualization tool Tableau is a plus. Motivated to learn and pick up new knowledge on the job. Good communication skills to interact with colleagues globally. Preferred Internship Period: Mar 26 - Aug 26 / Jun 26 - Dec 26
