What the role is:As the community leadership development arm of the People\'s Association (PA), National Community Leadership Institute (NACLI) aims to equip our learners with the relevant skillsets and growth mindset so that they can contribute actively and effectively to the community building and citizen engagement efforts in Singapore. We are currently seeking interns to participate in the PA Structured Internship Programme with NACLI. The internship is a great opportunity for you to appreciate PA\'s mission of building and bridging communities. At the same time, you will gain industry exposure and practical skills through working on meaningful digital marketing, social media engagement & other communication-related projects/assignments which are aimed at supporting NACLI\'s capability building efforts.What you will be working on:The intern will be supporting special projects such as publicity efforts for NACLI 60 and BSL social media campaign, and ongoing content creation and design work for Training Comms. The key scope of work includes the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Conceptualises and curates bite-sized learning contents to communicate NACLI\'s work, mission, and training objectives through its social media channels and other digital platforms in support of building the Institute\'s online presence \xe2\x80\xa2 Supports in both online and offline strategies to achieve better outreach and engagement to GRLs including the bite-sized learning social media campaign and roadshow for NACLI social media \xe2\x80\xa2 Works closely with Comms team to produce innovative social media content including video interviews and create strong call-to-action \xe2\x80\xa2 Proposes social media opportunities/trends that NACLI can harness to increase outreach and mindshare \xe2\x80\xa2 Supports the Institute\'s learning and \'on-campus\' publicity initiatives e.g. production of learning aids, course EDMs and posters etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Contributes to NACLI\'s ongoing social media engagement efforts and support in onsite photography and videography to build NACLI\'s digital media repository and archive \xe2\x80\xa2 Works closely with vendors guided by supervisor to achieve the Institute\'s social media learning and communications deliverables Learning objectives include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Gain practical experience in conceptualising and curating engaging social media campaigns and learning contents \xe2\x80\xa2 Research and explore strategies to expand and track social media reach and engagement \xe2\x80\xa2 Hone creativity and written communication skills through supporting copywriting work \xe2\x80\xa2 Understand the diverse areas of online and offline outreach and publicity efforts in an adult learning environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop planning and critical thinking skills through involvement in diverse projects and assignments \xe2\x80\xa2 Learn about process innovation and how to leverage work automation to reap productivity gainsWhat we are looking for:Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Kindly note that the minimal commitment period is 12 weeks/3 months \xe2\x80\xa2 Background/prior experience in areas related to Digital Communications, Communication & Media Design, Marketing or related fields \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of professional design tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent knowledge and keen interest in social media engagement \xe2\x80\xa2 Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and graphic design flair \xe2\x80\xa2 Students in relevant disciplines: Communication Studies, Design & New Media, Business & Marketing, Media Production, Community Development, Humanities & Social Sciences Please submit your application via this for https://go.gov.sg/nacli-internship-application-form (To indicate link to portfolio/attach sample past works if any) Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
