Job Description

The Backend Manufacturing Excellence team is focused on establishing frameworks and standardizing processes for all backend sites to optimize efficiency. As part of this mission, we are developing a standardized analytics tool that will enable data-driven decision-making across all backend sites. This tool will serve as a unified platform to monitor, analyze, and sustain operational excellence while ensuring scalability and consistency across the sites. The selected interns--one Data Analyst and one Full Stack Developer--will actively contribute to building this solution and maintaining existing tools. Together, their work will play a pivotal role in transforming backend operations into a cohesive and efficient system, driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

Design, develop, and implement a scalable analytics tool for backend sites using modern web technologies

Create and maintain backend APIs and databases to store and retrieve performance metrics securely and efficiently

Implement user-friendly, responsive interfaces to ensure ease of use for operational teams Troubleshoot, update, and sustain existing solutions to enhance usability and performance

Internship Learning Outcomes:

Gain hands-on experience in contributing to a high-impact industry-grade analytics project from development to deployment

Build expertise in

data-driven problem-solving and process optimization in a real-world manufacturing context

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

On track to attain Bachelor in Engineering/ Computer related course with a research-oriented mindset

Solid knowledge of front-end and back-end programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/React for the front end; Node.js, Django, or Flask for the back end) Proficiency in working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and APIs for seamless integration Experience or understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and version control (Git) A problem-solving mindset with an ability to efficiently design and prototype scalable, user-centric applications Preferred Internship Period: Jun 26 - Dec 26
