What the role is:As the community leadership development arm of the People\'s Association (PA), National Community Leadership Institute (NACLI) aims to equip our learners with the relevant skillsets and growth mindset so that they can contribute actively and effectively to the community building and citizen engagement efforts in Singapore. We are currently seeking interns to participate in the PA Structured Internship Programme with NACLI. The internship is a great opportunity for you to appreciate PA\'s mission of building and bridging communities. At the same time, you will gain industry exposure and practical skills through working on meaningful heritage-related projects/assignments which are aimed at supporting NACLI\'s capability building efforts.What you will be working on:The intern will be supporting the Planning & Knowledge Management team in the development of the Grassroots Heritage Gallery. The gallery aims to showcase and preserve the efforts of PA and its grassroots movement in supporting community and nation building in Singapore; and inspire visitors to play a part in this journey. The intern will assist the team in the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Development of content for the Grassroots Heritage Gallery which includes conducting research on PA and its grassroots movement, collaborating with key community stakeholders to support the curation and selection of exhibits for the heritage gallery. \xe2\x80\xa2 Engage key stakeholders in the process of developing the Gallery through Focus Group Discussions, Learning Journeys to gather insights and perspectives relevant to the development of the gallery \xe2\x80\xa2 Formulate and implement plans to ensure regular flow of visitors to the Gallery Learning objectives include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Gain exposure to the dynamic work environment of a training institute, specifically in the area of Knowledge and Heritage management; learn and build understanding on how Knowledge and Heritage work contributes to the success of an organisation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Gain communication skills through working with vendors, stakeholder engagement and collaborating with others to work toward a common goal. \xe2\x80\xa2 Gain project management skills when assisting in the curation and development of contents for the Grassroots Heritage Gallery (GHG) as part of the Knowledge Management (KM) process. \xe2\x80\xa2 Gain critical thinking skills through analysing and evaluating project issues and creating solutions to challengesWhat we are looking for:Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Kindly note that the minimal commitment period is 12 weeks/3 months \xe2\x80\xa2 Background in History, Museum Studies, Cultural Heritage, or a related field. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong research and documentation skills, with a keen eye for detail. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Project coordination experience and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. \xe2\x80\xa2 Students in relevant disciplines: History, Museum Studies, Cultural Heritage, Arts Business Management, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Design & Media Please submit your application via this for https://go.gov.sg/nacli-internship-application-form Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
