What the role is:As the community leadership development arm of the People\'s Association (PA), National Community Leadership Institute (NACLI) aims to equip our learners with the relevant skillsets and growth mindset so that they can contribute actively and effectively to community building and citizen engagement efforts in Singapore. We are currently seeking interns to participate in the PA Structured Internship Programme with NACLI. The internship is a great opportunity for you to appreciate PA\'s mission of building and bridging communities. At the same time, you will gain industry exposure and practical skills through working on meaningful Learning & Development-related projects/assignments which are aimed at supporting NACLI\'s capability building efforts.What you will be working on:The interns will be supporting the institute faculty teams in both project management and programme innovation aspect of L&D. Work scope include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with module developers to conceptualise, design and develop key leadership programmes, including local and overseas components. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with diverse task forces to aid in the institute\'s Anniversary Conference. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate and manage training programmes including liaising with other departments on training administration and logistic arrangement. Learning objectives include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Gain valuable project and events management experience by supporting the development, planning, and execution of significant leadership programmes and annual events, including the institute\'s Anniversary Conference. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the planning and coordination of NACLI\'s training programmes and administration of courses. \xe2\x80\xa2 Gain communication skills through working with vendors, stakeholder engagement and collaborating with others to work toward a common goal. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in administrative processes and gain critical thinking skills through analysing and evaluating project issues and creating solutions to challengesWhat we are looking for:Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Kindly note that the minimal commitment period is 12 weeks/3 months \xe2\x80\xa2 Interest or experience in Events/MICE, Media Pre and Post Production, Design or equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 Interest in Community Development \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong written and verbal communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Students in relevant disciplines: Integrated Events Management, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Business, Communication Studies, Design & Media, Digital Innovation, Humanities & Social Sciences, Media Production Please submit your application via this for https://go.gov.sg/nacli-internship-application-form Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
