What the role is:The Resilience and Engagement Division (RED) helps build a strong society by strengthening social capital, and inspiring and empowering individuals to contribute to the common good. We do this through three pillars of work: fostering a strong and inclusive sense of national identity; nurturing an active citizenry, and developing the public service\'s capabilities to engage and partner citizens. The SG Cares Office encourages volunteerism and philanthropy efforts in Singapore through promoting the SG Cares movement. One of the key focus areas for 2024 is to increase awareness, visibility and mindshare of SG Cares Volunteer Centres through the creation of distinct visuals and messages with strong association to the SG Cares movement. Team members will be required to execute marketing communication strategies and national level digital campaigns.What you will be working on:Intern\'s Responsibilities During the internship, the intern will be tasked to: Social Media Management: \xe2\x80\xa2 Design and execute social media creative assets on SG Cares social media platforms to convey what the SG Cares movement is about: inclusive, engaging and collaborative \xe2\x80\xa2 Design and copywrite SG Cares digital collaterals to raise awareness and increase mindshare of SG Cares movement and key initiatives (e.g. promoting SG Cares Volunteer Centres) \xe2\x80\xa2 Create monthly social media calendars to promote the SG Cares movement through sourcing for relevant articles, and amplifying donation and volunteering opportunities \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with internal and external stakeholders to cross carry and amplify SG Cares key messages \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor postings to ensure that the terminologies and images used/posted are consistent with SG Cares\' brand messages \xe2\x80\xa2 Interact with followers and members of public by communicating and answering questions through SG Cares social media platforms in a professional manner Social Media Analysis: \xe2\x80\xa2 Track social media engagement/activities to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the tracking of website analytics and reports to track user engagement and website performance Administrative Support: \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide general administrative support for website transition and maintenance, and content management tasksWhat we are looking for:We are looking for someone who has: \xe2\x80\xa2 Interest in marketing, communications and community involvement \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in using softwares, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Canva, to create, design and edit digital marketing collaterals \xe2\x80\xa2 A strong command of the English language and ability to perform good quality copywriting and copyediting for digital media \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently within a team, demonstrates initiative, and possesses a high degree of commitment Internship Period : From September 2024 onwards for a maximum of 3 months either on full-time or part-time basis. For part-time internship, intern must be able to commit at least 3 days per week. Please indicate your period of availability in your application form.
