Job description
In your new role you will:
- Verify, extract and analyze information for the preparation of tax work schedules
- Render support in filing quarterly GST returns and annual corporate income tax return to IRAS
- Assist in performing GST health checks and ensure that the company is GST compliant
- Render support in preparing transfer pricing report for the company and its related entities
- Prepare relevant tax and/or reconciliation schedules for auditors
- Undertake projects on workflow automation and process improvement
- Render support in ad-hoc duties
- Application and reinforcement of knowledge in analysis of financial statements for tax purposes
- Understand the process of corporate tax, GST and/or transfer pricing compliance
- Gain exposure to workflow automation and process improvement projects using relevant tools (e.g. KNIME, etc.)
- Gain hands on experience of SAP accounting software
- Enhance soft skills such as communication, presentation and time management skills
- Enhance interpersonal relations across departments and management of situation in team settings through problem solving follow up and resolution of issues
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- On track to attain Diploma / Bachelor / Masters in Accountancy and/or Finance
- Effective communication skills
- Positive work attitude and willingness to learn
- Knowledge in SAP / data analytics software is an advantage
