We are looking for interns that can fulfill their internship within the time period.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist editorial team (mostly the food editors) with fact-checking, information-gathering and story uploads on 8 Days website.



2. Assist with on-ground coverage, like visiting eateries for information-gathering, or tastings/interviews, where applicable.



3. Assist with some story writing, if the intern proves to have the aptitude for it. This could be done in the form of simple blurbs, product reviews or profiles.



4. Help manage 8 Days' social media accounts by doing up posts and occasionally shooting product photos/reviews, where applicable. And assist with simple photo editing for online articles or social media posts.



5. Help research for potential news stories/eateries to cover and pitch those ideas. This is done by scouring social media, news sites and also on-the-ground work.

Qualifications

Requirements:

1. The ability to be a self-starter and independent worker with lots of initiative.



2. Good interpersonal skills and tenacity are required for the role, especially when it comes to interviewing newsmakers.



3. Social media-savviness, a basic knowledge of Photoshop and a decent eye for taking/choosing photos.

Successful applicants must commit to at least a 3-month internship during the period from June 2025 to June 2026
