Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Strategic Planner to implement inventory planning policies and regularly review and update planning parameters for optimal inventory levels.
• Work in tandem with country planners to align on forecasts, lead times, customer orders, and new materials.
• Engage with suppliers to communicate demand forecasts actively.
• Collaborate with suppliers to enhance lead times and availability while reducing inventory levels and working capital.
• Monitor inventory levels consistently, ensuring sufficient supply for customers while minimizing excess or expired inventory.
• Maintain and review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the assigned area and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with suppliers and forwarders for inbound shipment booking, tracking, and customs clearance to ensure on-time arrival.
• Collaborate with forwarders to resolve cargo damage and insurance claims.
• Collaborate with QRC to ensure registration licenses are available for product imports to SG.
• Work closely with the 3PL Warehouse Ops team to ensure proper receipt of stock.
• Address discrepancies in received stock and resolve order-related and nonconforming product issues.
• Serve as the point of contact for inventory inquiries.
• Coordinate with 3PL to organize physical inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile inventory.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of Supply Chain Planning and purchase order management experience
• Good knowledge of supply chain management such as forecast and planning, inventory management, air and ocean freight, import and export trade compliance, etc.
• Experienced user of material requirements planning and ERP systems. SAP is preferred. Organized, Structured, Analytical and Data-driven mindset
