Job Description
Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Manufacturing sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting an Inventory Planner to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining the required inventory levels, including determining how much inventory should be kept on hand, and being prepared for the company’s maintenance plans, anticipating potential shortages
- Responsible for the creation of purchase orders for stocks, based on company’s production schedules and inventory levels maintained
- Responsible for the coordination with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of stocks to ensure the maintenance plans are able to proceed smoothly
- Responsible for verifying the invoices & shipping documents received from the various suppliers/vendors
- In charge of suggesting improvements to the company’s inventory management systems based on past results to ensure quality planning
- In charge of reviewing the company’s stock inventories reports, working with the warehouse team on the necessary inventory planning
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in relevant fields of Engineering / Supply Chain Management (Relevant working experience will be considered as well)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledgeable in MS Office and SAP system
