Job Description

Our Client, Manufacturing industry, has an opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the team as an Inventory Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Interface with other department in various issues affecting production and planning.
• Assist Production Assistant Manager in the daily operations meeting.
• Supervise operators involved on label, RM & PM.
• Prepare daily, weekly liquid and moulding line schedule.
• Arrange material requirement for both label, raw and packaging materials and coordinate it to other departments to ensure timely replenishment.
• Prepare production consumables.
• Work collaboratively with Technical, Warehouse on new Packing codes.
• Attends monthly (or as necessary) material planning meeting with Purchasing and Warehouse departments.
• Ensure quality, delivery, cost commitment and targets are met.
• Ensure optimum utilization of resources and manpower to achieve targets.
• Manage the use of all consumables and other operating expenses.
• Overseeing department’s activities and production result regularly.
• Inventory planning, scheduling and procurement of materials.
• Ensure workplace safety and health programs are in place to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintains manufacturing procedures & specifications.
• Attend to both production personnel and technical issues to ensure overall smooth production processes.
• Attend to all quality issues, i.e. customer complaints, process non conformances, non -conforming products and work out solutions with Quality Assurance Department to contain or resolve the issues.
• Participates actively in various audits and ensures corrective activities are executed promptly.
• Ensures production personnel and equipment conforms to the standards of Good Manufacturing Practices and Integrated Management System.
• Ensures all production personnel under his shift carries out work in compliance to safety policies and requirements of the company.
• Coordinates with E&M to provide proper hand tools / equipment / PPE to Operators.
• Prepares non conformity / incident / accident report for his shift.
  

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
• Experience in manufacturing industry will be advantegous.
• Able to multitask
