Conducts research on industry and company-specific due diligence related to potential transactions; analyses and evaluates a combination of industry, investment environment, competitive and valuation analysis for new and existing investment opportunities
Responsibility for in-depth analysis of a portfolio of industry sectors and countries in the target investment regions as assigned
Generate ideas, recommendations and analyses in response to events in target markets and monitor market trends and write in-depth, high quality and timely research on trends, market and political developments
Extensive financial modelling including sensitivity analysis to support potential investment opportunities
Provide financial evaluation of project investment opportunities including review of project documents such as the investment term sheet and various legal agreement and investment agreements
Maintain internal database of deal flow, potential investments and opportunities
Gather and synthesize industry/market data and build detailed company financial models of value companies using the various methodologies (discounted cash flow, comparable company, precedent transactions, asset based valuation, dividend discount, amongst others).
