Analyst / Associate
Singapore & Japan

We are supporting a global financial institution in the build out of their real estate acquisition team in Asia Pacific. They are well capitalised and have an excellent senior management team that will provide fantastic learning and mentorship.

We are therefore looking for Analyst / Associate profiles in multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

• Build financial models to evaluate direct and joint venture real estate investments in Asia Pacific.
• Conduct market analysis on key markets and sub-markets in the region to support investment evaluation, asset management and formulation of investment/portfolio strategy.
• Analyse various forms of deal structures across the regions alongside financial analysis.
• Support deal team leaders in origination, evaluation, due diligence and execution of both direct and joint venture real estate investments.
• Support deal team leaders in preparation of investment proposals and coordination of internal stakeholders, portfolio managers and external partners and consultants.
• Support Asia Real Estate Investment team on the Company\'s real estate-related strategic initiatives and potential new product development and offerings.

• Bachelor\'s Degree required, Business, Finance or related subject preferred.
• Min 3 years of experience in related industry. Experience in investment banking and real estate investment in an institutional environment would be preferred. Candidates from other disciplines will be considered. Buy-side background is optional.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Strong oral and written English communications skills in order to present to and work with senior management, internal stakeholders and external parties (at least one additional Asian language preferred). Japanese language capability needed for Tokyo based role.
• Knowledge and relevant experience in real estate investments in Asia Pacific would be preferred.
