Job Description

I am partnering a leading energy and commodity trading group to hire an Investment Associate (3-5 years experience) for their team to support the execution of the hydrogen/biofuels projects in their pipeline.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Investment Director, you will be responsible for driving firm wide strategies through deal execution and management. Key responsibilities include financial modelling, reviewing/preparing reports and due diligence work, and driving business development opportunities.

Overseas travel is required for this role on an as-required basis.

Requirements

You have at least 3-5 years of experience in either a sell side or buy side role, with experience in natural resources/ commodities structuring highly preferred. Open to candidates from investment banking with strong competencies in financial modelling (M&A, LBO, etc.) and expereince in the natural resources or commodities sector.

Experience in buy-side deal execution process, and hydrogen/biofuel projects will be highly advantageous. To succeed in the role, you will be described as driven, independent and self-sufficient.
