Rare Buy-Side Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

You will be integral to the smooth operation and oversight of the investment portfolio, with responsibilities including:


Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly performance reports and take full ownership of the month-end Treasury and Investment Report, detailing activities across corporate, trust, and personal investment portfolios. Operational Management: Assist in managing the family office's core investment system to ensure data accuracy and efficient operations. Research & Due Diligence: Conduct detailed analysis and review of existing portfolio holdings. Generate investment ideas, perform market research, and conduct due diligence on fund managers and new investment opportunities. Documentation & Compliance: Summarize key takeaways from external calls and meetings. Analyze and review subscription and investment documents for accuracy and compliance.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is an

initiative-taker

with a solid foundation in finance and a keen eye for detail. Experience: Approximately 1 year of professional experience in wealth management, asset management, or a related field. Asset Class Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of at least two core asset classes (e.g., Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Equities, Derivatives). Education/Credentials: A relevant Degree is required. Progress towards or completion of the CFA or an MBA is highly desirable. Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; proven ability to effectively manage, analyze, and present complex financial data. Soft Skills: Must be able to work independently, accurately interpret complex directions, and consistently demonstrate a positive, value-add contribution to the team and the SFO.
