Lead, mentor, and inspire a small team of investment advisors to achieve individual and team performance goals.
Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to team members to enhance their professional development and overall performance.
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to monitor progress and address any challenges or concerns.
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and institutions in the North Asian market, predominantly Mandarin-speaking clients.
Collaborate with investment advisors to understand clients\' financial needs, risk tolerance, and investment objectives.
Ensure exceptional client service by providing personalized investment advice and recommending suitable financial products.
Investment Advisory:
Stay up-to-date with market trends, investment products, and regulatory changes affecting the financial industry, particularly in the North Asian market.
Work closely with the team to develop investment strategies and tailor investment portfolios to meet the unique needs and goals of clients.
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on investment opportunities, providing expert advice and recommendations to clients.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure the team adheres to all relevant regulatory and compliance policies and guidelines.
Monitor and mitigate potential risks associated with investment advisory activities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as legal and compliance teams, to address any compliance-related issues.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
Bachelor\'s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. Master\'s degree is a plus.
Fluency in Mandarin is essential. Proficiency in English and other languages is an advantage.
Proven experience as a Team Manager or similar leadership role in the wealth management or private banking industry.
Deep understanding of investment advisory practices, financial markets, and wealth management products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members from diverse backgrounds.
