We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Investment Counselor.

Principal Responsibilities

• Partnering with Relationship Managers to offer appropriate investment solutions to ultra/high net worth clients
• Attracting/enhancing high net worth client relationships and profitability
• May be accountable for assessing client needs, developing a comprehensive investment strategy, co-ordinating sales and execution against that strategy, and monitoring the performance and appropriateness of the client\xe2\x80\x99s overall investment portfolio
• Job holder is expected to involve other Investment Departments, Compliance, Risk and Marketing where appropriate to improve client\xe2\x80\x99s portfolios and align with risk profile
• Ensure Business requirements and challenges are captured and resolved prior to future service launch

Requirements

• Prior experience in investment counselling within Private Banking sector
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Passion and interest in the financial markets
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Risk conscious, in particular on the trading side
• Strong analytical skills and multitasking abilities
• Team player, high achiever, quick to learn, detail oriented, positive attitude
• High level of professional and personal integrity

To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role. HSBC Group reserves its position with regards to any steps which it may take in relation to any material adverse findings which arise either when the checks are originally completed, and/or if relevant, on an ongoing basis.
