  • New practice group for a leading UK law firm
  • Strong transactional practice in Asia
  • Growth role as they look to set up a new funds practice
Our client is a reputable UK law firm with a strong transactional practice in Asia, particularly in areas of Corporate and Banking and Finance. Building upon their strong network within the financial services sphere, they are looking for a seasoned investment funds lawyer to further strengthen their transactional capabilities for their existing portfolio of clients. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of their broader growth plan in Asia and being the pioneer in building up their Investment Funds practice in Singapore. Existing book of business is preferred, but not mandatory for this hire. The firm is committed to allocate necessary resources in areas of business development and marketing to support this new practice group. Basic Requirements:
  • Minimally 7-8+ PQE gained from either a local/international law firm
  • Inhouse Funds Counsel looking to transit back into private practice are welcome to apply too
  • Qualification in Singapore, England & Wales, or another Common Law jurisdiction preferred
  • Strong network within the Investment Funds sphere would be viewed favourably
  • Entrepreneurial, open-minded, good with business development
  • Client is prepared to relocate the right talent for this opportunity.
