Our client, a global investment management firm with a deep heritage, is seeking a high-caliber candidate to join their team as an Investment Specialist. This role will drive the growth of their private market solutions in the Asia Pacific region, partnering with the sales team in client pitching and serving as the subject matter expert for all private market strategies.




Job Scope:


The Investment Specialist will work closely with business development teams to facilitate new business wins, product improvements, and identify opportunities for new product development. This involves providing in-depth expertise on Private Market products, including Private Equity, Private Credit, Private Real Asset, and Specialty Alternatives. The role requires strong client engagement, relationship management, and analytical skills to support sales efforts and promote private market solutions.




Responsibilities:


Collaborate with business development teams to drive business growth and product development Educate and engage with internal partners on private market strategies Make pitches to clients and prospects, conduct portfolio reviews, and oversee client responses Provide in-depth vehicle and market expertise to support sales efforts Develop campaigns promoting private market solutions with the marketing/content team


Requirements:


Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity as an Investment Specialist Strong understanding of private market strategies (Private Equity, Private Credit, Private Real Asset, Specialty Alternatives) Excellent presentation and client engagement skills Strong relationship management and analytical skills High level of maturity and ability to multi-task with little supervision Entrepreneurial approach with ability to think forward and work without a playbook Desire for travel and understanding of the investment process
