Investor Relations Associate (asset Management)
Job Description
Parabolea is a hedge fund based in Singapore. Parabolea currently operates two core Funds: (i) mid-frequency quantitative trading and (ii) thematic growth and income. The Funds are seeded with USD100m in capital by the Fund Sponsors.
We are hiring an Investor Relations Associate to manage the commercial relationships for the Funds. The Investor Relations Associate will work directly with the Fund Sponsors to onboard external AUM and assist in the general day-to-day management of the fund.
We are seeking an experienced hire for this role. Please do not apply if you do not have prior experience in funds investor relations, marketing or business development.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute on an AUM growth strategy for the Funds. Build and manage relationships with distribution partners to scale up AUM onboarding. Prepare and maintain fund presentations and other marketing collaterals. Manage investor communications and write periodic fund reports and market memos. Frame and present the Funds' narratives, positioning and investment USPs. Represent the Funds at investment seminars and industry networking events. Work with business partners and service providers around investor due diligence, KYC, fund documentation and AUM onboarding.
Requirements
1-4 years of experience in investor relations, marketing or business development for a MAS-licensed fund. Clear understanding of investor relations compliance as required by MAS regulations. Excellent in initiating and managing relationships with investors and business partners. Proactive and solutions-oriented. Adept in framing perspectives and communicating narratives. Warm and engaging personality with high level of emotional intelligence. Strong willingness to take on execution responsibilities in a small-team environment. Comfortable working independently. * Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
