Job Description

This is a fully remote, full time position to be hired under special contract basis. This special contract will be provided by a local legal advisor in Malaysia. Our client does not presently have an entity in Malaysia yet. EPF will be covered by Candidates if the applicant is Malaysian. While we are proud of the progress we made so far, we still consider ourselves to be at the very beginning of what is to come.TasksJob Responsibilities:As iOS engineer, you\'ll get the chance to work on our client\xe2\x80\x99s app which is used by over 700,000 musicians every month. As part of a small international Tech team of 6 pax, you\'ll be able to take over real responsibility and contribute to the product that actually gets shipped to hundreds of thousands of users**Examples of what you\'ll probably work on (flexible depending on your skills and areas of interest):**

• Frontend: Implement user interfaces based on great designs and specs
• Backend: Implement robust communication with our backend server using the interwebs
• IoT: Learn about implementing communication to our hardware product via Bluetooth Low Energy and Bluetooth 5
• Architecture: We refactor. Our code deserves to be beautiful
• Keep an eye out for portability and scalability \xe2\x80\x93 we build software that lasts
• Give feedback to the product owner about the specs and contribute to the roadmap planning
• Learn about new concepts and technologies from your coworkers, and contribute your own ideas and knowledge
• Pick up our challenge to reduce our bug count to (near?) zero

**Engineering Culture**

• A relatively small tech team where everyone is working towards a team goal and on multiple platforms: IOS, Android, Embedded Systems, Digital signal Processing, backend
• Do our best to create development processes that are transparent and modern: practice Scrum, refine the specs in the backlog weekly, keep track of bugs, perform tests and have a daily stand-up meeting between colleagues in office and remote. Each engineer wears many hats and needs to learn different things quickly.

Requirements

• Someone who talks Swift, and has an opinion about architecture design, ranging from MVP to MVVM and beyond
• Understanding of Storyboards and Adaptive Layouts
• Understanding of Apple\xe2\x80\x99s design principles and human interface guidelines
• Ideally someone has experience in music practise \xe2\x80\x93 piano, drum
• A creative engineer that has experience translating designs into functional UI with attention to detail
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• A responsible individual who loves learning new technologies
• Attention to detail, front end work, very design oriented and perfectionist
• Enjoy working on an App that is already out in market, working with highly international & fun-loving team, outcome-oriented team
• Experience in building interfaces on IOS side using native components and programming languages , familiar with Apple /IOS interface guidelines
• Enjoy self-organizing
