Working Hours: Monday - Thursday (8.30am - 6pm), Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm) (Hybrid working arrangement)

We are seeking a highly skilled IoT Cloud Developer with strong hands-on experience in building cloud-native backend services and integrating with IoT or edge devices. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-impact platform that bridges cloud-native technologies, IoT protocols, and secure infrastructure, contributing to a product that will transform how access management is delivered and scaled nationwide.
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-hosted backend services and APIs using Node.js (NestJS) and Python.
• Build IoT-enabled backend components to support communication between devices, gateways, and cloud systems.
• Integrate and work with MQTT and TCP/IP protocols for device-to-cloud and cloud-to-device messaging.
• Develop solutions compatible with AWS Greengrass, Azure IoT Hub, or similar IoT cloud frameworks.
• Architect and implement scalable data models, authentication mechanisms, and secure communication channels.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications in cloud environments (AWS/Azure), ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
• Build, manage, and improve CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, automated testing, and seamless deployment.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, SRE, and QA teams for smooth end-to-end delivery of IoT-cloud solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning for backend and IoT integration components.
• Maintain technical documentation, contribute to architecture reviews, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development, with strong proficiency in NestJS (TypeScript) and Python.
• Hands-on knowledge of MQTT and/or TCP socket communication for IoT messaging.
• Practical experience deploying applications in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), preferably with AWS IoT Core / AWS Greengrass or Azure IoT Hub / IoT Edge
