Responsibilities

• Utilize Azure IoT Hub and Azure IoT Edge for device communication and data ingestion.

• Deploy and manage a fleet of devices in production using Azure IoT Hub.

• Design, develop, and maintain Azure IoT edge applications for various projects.

• Work with MQTT and AMQP protocols to ensure efficient and reliable data exchange.

• Configure and troubleshoot networking and routing in a Linux environment.

• Implement communication with devices using Modbus and OPC UA protocols.

• Write efficient and high-quality code in JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, and Python 3

• Containerize applications using Docker for easy deployment and scalability.

• Utilize Git for source control and collaboration with other team members.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of IoT concepts and experience in developing IoT solutions.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python 3 for application development.

• Experience deploying Azure IoT Edge devices to production.

• Familiarity with Azure IoT Hub and its various features and capabilities.

• Knowledge of MQTT and AMQP protocols for efficient device communication.

• Experience working in a Linux environment, including networking and routing concepts.

• Familiarity with Modbus and OPC UA protocols for device communication.

• Proficiency in containerization using Docker for application deployment.

• Experience with source control using Git for version management.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Salary Range

$7,000 - $8,000
