What the role is:The role of the intern will be attached to the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM). This internship position is within the Innovation and Foundation Competencies (IFC) department at the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM). The department aims to foster innovation and career development of public officers. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and management, campaign management, and innovative learning design. Interns will have the chance to enhance their skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and content development. They will also contribute to impactful career development initiatives within the public sector.What you will be working on:The intern will contribute significantly to the department's efforts in promoting innovation and supporting career development. Their contributions will include: 1.Planning and executing a Career Day Event and Marketing Campaign xe2x80xa2 Developing a comprehensive event plan in collaboration with the team xe2x80xa2 Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for logistics, speakers, and promotional materials xe2x80xa2 Designing and scheduling event marketing campaigns xe2x80xa2 Ensuring smooth event setup and coordination on the day xe2x80xa2 Assisting in attendee management xe2x80xa2 Collating post-event feedback and creating follow-up resources 2.Developing and organizing learning interventions xe2x80xa2 Researching and curating content for innovation and career development topics xe2x80xa2 Assisting in the design and execution of 2 virtual workshops on innovation and career development topics xe2x80xa2 Distilling workshops' content into 1-2 engaging e-learning modulesWhat we are looking for:

  • Project management skills, including organisational abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving xe2x80xa2Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal xe2x80xa2Effective stakeholder engagement and management skills xe2x80xa2Innovation and content creation capabilities, including familiarity with digital tools xe2x80xa2Creativity in resource design and graphic proficiency (e.g. familiarity with Canva) xe2x80xa2Strong research and analytical skills xe2x80xa2Event planning and management experience (preferred) xe2x80xa2Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team xe2x80xa2Adaptability and proactive mindset to navigate challenges in a fast-paced environment xe2x80xa2Students from Faculty in Art, Design and Media, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, Education or related will be ideal. Open only to Polytechnic students or minimum 6 months commitment period.
