Our client is a global law firm. The IS Security Engineer will oversee and manage the firm\'s security systems and practices in line with established policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse security system reports for suspicious activities and trends across various platforms.
• Configure and maintain security products, including firewalls, web proxies, and encryption systems.
• Respond to alerts and incidents as part of the Incident Response Team, minimising asset exposure.
• Troubleshoot IS security issues and collaborate with vendors for solutions.
• Conduct risk and security reviews of products as directed by management.
• Configure access control systems and assign user rights appropriately.
• Recommend security controls to align with the overall information security strategy.
• Monitor security metrics, manage patch status, and assess system vulnerabilities for remediation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology or Information Systems.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in information security.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking, Active Directory, and NTFS necessary.
• Familiarity with security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus systems, and web filtering.
• Experience with encryption methods, patch management, vulnerability scanning, and forensic tools.
• CISSP or equivalent certifications will be a plus.
• Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for security incidents and support.
