IS&T Business Partner, CommercialTremendous opportunity to join a global organisation at the forefront of miningExcellent work environment where people are valued and respectedGreat work life balance and attractive benefitsBe part of a group that is safety focused and values inclusionPermanent position based in SingaporeAbout the roleFinding better ways to provide the materials the world needs.We are looking for an IS&T Business Partner, Commercial to drive maximum value for their investment in information technology and systems, leveraging existing assets and emerging technologies to enable the business strategy; management of the Commercial business relationships and demand and creation of aligned end to end IS&T strategy and roadmap in partnership with the Commercial team.This is an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Business Partnering team to spearhead our business partnering and solution delivery across our Move & Sell (Sales, Marketing, Marine and Logistics) domain.Reporting to the Senior Manager Commercial, you will:Be accountable for the co-development and implementation of the Commercial Move & Sell IT Strategy, roadmap, and priorities.Understand the business vision, strategy, objectives, priorities, and drivers for the Commercial team.Collaborate with the Commercial Digital & other IS&T teams on operational business process and technology strategies.Drive the extraction of maximum value from technology already in place and promote the use of new technology as required.Manage business demand and relationships with stakeholders.Manage performance and governance outcomes for Commercials IT programs and projects.Accountable for the project execution of the Commercials project portfolio.Accountable for the management of relevant IS&T and Commercial governance forums.Proactively engage with all relevant IS&T teams (e.g. operations; EA, cyber security) to ensure successful evaluate and deliver great outcomes for our customers.Mentor and develop staff using a supportive / collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; monitor, evaluate results, provide feedback and coaching; conduct regular performance reviews.Manage people and demonstrate the Rio Tinto values at all times.About youExcellent collaboration, influencing and negotiation abilities, particularly with senior leaders.Proficient in seamlessly transitioning between strategic planning and execution.Creative thinking and problem-solving, including logical and structured decision making.Strong ability to deliver projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Demonstrated ability to lead technology innovation initiatives.Strong ability to manage ambiguity.Demonstrated experience in team Management, including setting objectives and priorities, evaluating results, provide feedback and coaching and supporting career development.At least 10 years experience:In leading and managing technology and software services delivery.Strong operational process knowledge and/or experience in Commercial (sales, marketing, logistics and marine)Exposure to Lean Portfolio Management and portfolio management for large-scale and diverse organizations, including enterprise solutions like SAP, with a strategic emphasis on driving business transformation.Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, in multiple regions / time zonesBudget management, financial control, and reporting Knowledge of project methodology and common toolsets including agile delivery methods.What we offerBe recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you have helped the world progress.A work environment where safety is always the number one priorityA permanent position working directly for Rio TintoA competitive base salary reflective of your skills and experience with annual incentive programComprehensive medical benefits including subsidized private health insurance for employees and immediate familyAttractive share ownership planCompany provided insurance coverExtensive salary sacrifice & salary packaging optionsCareer development & education assistance to further your technical or leadership goals.Ongoing access to family-friendly health and medical wellbeing supportExclusive employee discounts (banking, accommodation, cars, retail and more)Flexible working arrangements.About Rio TintoRio Tinto is a leading global mining and materials company.
