Job Description
An IT Analyst job has become available at a well-known Southeast Asian bank.
About the IT Analyst Role:
This role will involve supporting the IT department and ensuring smooth system operations. Responsibilities will include technical support, issue troubleshooting, and application development and maintenance. The role will be onsite in central Singapore and involve shift work (9am - 5pm / 4pm - 10pm).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage core banking application systems and surrounding systems
- Develop ad hoc and customised reports for users and head office
- Resolve outstanding issues and ensure timely follow-up
- Administer and document fixes for production systems
- Provide recommendations for IT improvements and new solutions
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure system security and performance
Key Requirements:
- Strong technical skills in IT support and development
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a banking environment
- Proficiency in XML and Java
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
