Job Description


On behalf of one of its clients, the FFCS is looking for a IT Business Analyst & Application Engineer.Project Management and Business Analysis

The Business Analyst is responsible for implementing and maintaining new applications within the organization. They integrate and inter-connect the various applications so that they operate in a unified and automated manner. They also provide support to the end users.RESPONSIBILITIESUnder the supervision of the IT-Apps Manager, the Business Analyst will perform the following main missions:Project Management and Business Analysis (40-50%)Plan and integrate new applications into the organization following IT application lifecycle best practices:
  • Participate in the functional analysis of needs with various teams (finance, procurement, HR, education teams).
  • Explore and benchmark solutions.
  • Plan and manage the project.
  • Guarantee clear communication and guidelines with the vendors.
  • Test and coordinate UAT of the selected solution with users.
  • Ensure specifications are met, documentation and deliverables are complete and updated.
  • Deploy and train the relevant stakeholders (support team, managers, end-users).
Data Integration and Automation (20-30%)Ensure connectivity, data flow, and automation between existing applications:
  • Study current data flows and data mapping and propose automation.
  • Setup and maintain the interfaces between the applications.
  • Monitor data security and data flows to ensure data is up to date in all systems and databases.
  • Setup dashboards and automated reporting to provide pertinent data to stakeholders.
  • Maintain source code and interfaces documentation.
Application Support (20-30%)
  • Provide level 2 support to end users and implement continuous improvements.
  • Identify and provide SOPs for the level 1 helpdesk.
SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer sciences or information technology.
  • 3-7 years of experience in applications, interfaces, or integration development.
  • Proficiency in databases (SQL).
  • Proficient in scripting and automation (PowerShell, HTML, Python, DevOps).
  • Experience with vendor management.
  • Proficiency in English.
