Job Description

We are looking for a functional Business Analyst, with subject matter expertise in the Trade Finance domain, and Cash domain to deliver efficient and innovative solutions for global IT platform stability, business growth and operational efficiency.

Direct Responsibilities

• Ensure the business/operational objectives of the new business requirements are well defined:
• Performing systematic business analysis,
• Validating/writing business requirements to align with business/operations needs as well as IT architecture and security standards.
• Designing functional solutions & user workflows and documenting Functional Specifications.
• Conducting walkthrough sessions on requirements and proposed solutions to all stakeholders and getting them reviewed and signoff.
• Writing test scenarios/cases related to SIT/UAT/NRT, review, execute /follow up to execute & get signoff from stakeholders. To rationalize test cases when needed to match with available team bandwidth and target timeline.
• Assisting users in planning/executing UAT, analyzing defects, and defining defects priority for fix delivery by the development team.
• Documenting/reviewing user manuals and release notes as required
• Ensure the Bank compliance policies and standards/practices are strictly followed
  

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Corporate Banking environment Trade Finance / Cash
• Strong functional & business analysis skills with the ability to communicate and bridge between business/operations & IT technical team
• Strong Testing / QA knowledge of standalone application and interface testing from upstream and downstream applications
• Good functional experience in Trade Financing applications especially workflow applications, as well as operational processing (back Office) applications.
• Experience working in onshore/offshore model
• Technical decision-making ability aligning with the best practices in the industry required.
• Ability to motivate and guide offshore team for timely quality deliveries
• Good team player with great commitment and attitude.
• Good communication and coordination skills among multiple teams that are cross-cultural and cross-country.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team to resolve issues and/or identify solutions in a timely manner.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic Oracle PL/SQL skill

• Graduate degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in Waterfall and agile scrum projects environment.
• Oracle SQL hands-on knowledge is required along with an excellent understanding of data modelling.
