Position: IT Business Analyst - Payment Systems Team We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our Payment Systems Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating business operation requirements into functional system requirements, contributing to the ongoing evolution of the existing payments platform for the APAC region. Direct Responsibilities:
Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business operations and other system interfaces.
Perform system functional analysis to facilitate the creation of functional requirements documents (FRS).
Develop operational workflows and use case diagrams.
Contribute to relevant sections of the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
Provide viable solutions to enhance operational efficiency, user experience, and business initiatives.
Review and sign off on artefacts and solutions produced by technical teams and vendors.
Provide support for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, performance testing, and rehearsal testing to ensure successful implementation of solutions on schedule.
Contributing Responsibilities:
Collaborate with vendors and other application project teams for new payments platform development.
Contribute to end-to-end solutioning for new business products and offerings.
Share expertise through training and knowledge sharing sessions.
Support postproduction issues and provide necessary guidance to Business as usual (BAU) teams.
Competencies: Technical:
10 years of IT experience in banking software development.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
Capable of working independently or in a team to resolve issues and identify solutions promptly.
Extensive experience in Payments, Cash Management, and Transaction Banking projects.
Proficiency in various payment systems including TT, RTGS, ACH, Bulk Payments, Direct Debit, Real-time Payments, Cheques, Virtual Account, Liquidity Management, and Operations BAU processing across the APAC region.
Solid domain knowledge in Corporate Banking, Trade, and Wealth Management.
Sound functional analysis and project management skills.
Handson experience with Payment Operations processing, data interface mapping, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or Agile Scrum methodologies.
Good knowledge of CBPR, ISO20022 payment standard, and SWIFT messages.
Understanding of straight through processing (STP) and operational efficiency.
Familiarity with core banking, foreign exchange transactions, transaction reporting, payments filtering and AML, reconciliation and settlement, cash flow management, and financial regulatory reporting.
Knowledge of payment transformation lifecycle and implementation methodology.
