Responsible for day-to-day management of Project or Program lifecycle, including but not limited to managing project or program resources (including other project managers/coordinators), budget management, issue and risk mitigation and status reporting owning the integrity of the critical path through regular client engagement to set expectations related to roles and responsibilities, progress and approach.
Develop and execute activities related to end-to-end Project or Program Management, including Project or Program plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment.
Works with the Engagement Lead, Solution and Technical architect and leads collaboratively leveraging project management best practices and industry experience.
Proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables.
Create, implement and manage Project or Program office function in support of the execution of delivery or product work.
Monitor and report progress to key stakeholders.
Oversee and maintain practices and procedures in line with methodology, Project or Program Management, and Digital Engagement Assurance best practice including Financial & Operational activities in Workday.
Engage with the client on a regular basis to clearly set expectations on project roles and responsibilities, progress, approach (phases, change control, testing, cutover, etc.).
Work with sales team to identify new opportunities, develop proposals, participate in oral sales presentations, etc.
Qualifications
Experience with Cloud implementation experience
Project implementation experience in one or more of the following areas: Cloud ERP, EPM, or CRM offerings
Experience as a functional application specialist
Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
The ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions
The ability to contribute on multiple projects of differing scale and duration
Strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams
A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies
Huron requires a Bachelor's Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience
* Willingness to travel 80% of the time
