Primary Function

The IT Business Lead - Enterprise App and Automation will be the key IT partner for driving tech programs across two key domains. First, the enterprise application technology stack with primary focus on HR and Process Excellence domain. Second, automation with a focus on process simplification and productivity enhancements using technology like RPA/ChatBots and/or other emerging technologies (ML/AI as an example).

The individual will partner closely with his/her functional stakeholders for the purpose of business-IT joint strategy development, solution discovery, project planning & delivery, service management, risk management and relationship management in the above domains. This includes collaboration with teams within the BU, across the region and with peer groups globally.

Individual has direct accountability for the timeliness and quality of services that are provided by our staff and third-party service providers.

This role will provide leadership in the delivery of projects spanning across the enterprise technology app domain with primary focus on HR and Process Excellence, in addition, be the advocate of automation and lead discovery activities, solutioning and delivery of technical solutions.

The individual will work with all IT Services teams (Security, infrastructure, applications teams, business partners, business clients, external vendors, and service delivery partners) to define, prototype, and implement new technologies in support of business objectives and projects.

The individual is also responsible for establishing day-to-day operational support for IT applications within the defined domains, that includes IT supplier management activities, business continuity, and overall service delivery support operations including change, incident, problem, and configuration management.

Dimensions

  • Ownership for all IT activities in the Snacks enterprise app space with strong focus in HR and Process Excellence domains
  • Ownership for all IT activities in the Snacks technology automation space
  • Best practice/knowledge sharing and cross business collaboration across other BU in the region
  • Be the bridge of dialogues within the region and/or with the global IT teams with respect to initiatives within the enterprise app and automation space
  • Member of AMEA Snacks IT team and AMEA Enterprise IT team
Responsibilities

Business IT Partnering
  • Establishes and maintains a relationship with key stakeholders, with a strong focus with the HR and Process Excellence functions for the enterprise application domain, and full spectrum of Snacks business functions for the automation domain
  • JBP (Joint business planning)
  • Provide thought leadership around the use of technology to achieve business goals and objectives
  • Setup and drive digital agenda, across process, people and technology collaborating with business stakeholders
  • Provide thought leadership around the use of technology to achieve business goals and objectives. Define and agree on business case including clear and tangible business case, benefit case and CBA (Costs benefit analysis)
  • Owns the budgetary and investment needs planning required
  • Understands the current as-is state(s) and jointly align on to-be state(s) with a strong focus in business enablement via technology simplification and automation
  • Works with broader team (Internal / external teams - architects, PM, delivery) to discuss potential solutions that match the functional business strategy with the technology strategy with integrated solutions
Program and delivery management
  • Enterprise Applications
  • Point program management for programs/projects specific to transformation in the enterprise applications domain, with a strong focus in HR and Process Excellence domains
  • Ensures the end-to-end business blueprinting and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is performed OTIF (On time in Full) and in accordance with agreed quality metrices
  • Close collaboration with a mix of both internal and external resources - genre of 3 party vendors, internal architects, and program managers, both global and region.

  • Discovery
  • Lead discovery activities to uncover opportunities to automate with a spirit of simplification and technology enablement
  • Bottoms up discovery - Pulsing from feedback on the ground, and/or proactive \'hunting\' from bottoms up. Understanding current as-is, wastage identification and automation to eliminate wastages
  • Top-down discovery - Understanding of known/global/region ready solutions that can be retrofitted or deployed to deliver scale and quick wins
  • Advocate and change manage a simplification mindset
  • Delivery
  • Point project management specific initiatives/leads and ideas generated and aligned with functional stakeholders from the \xe2\x80\x9cDiscovery\xe2\x80\x9d process
  • Ensures the end-to-end business solutioning and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is performed OTIF (On time in Full) and in accordance with agreed quality metrices
  • Close collaboration with a mix of both internal and external resources - genre of 3 party vendors, internal architects, and program managers, both global and region
  • Continued measure post go-live to ensure automation initiatives delivers the business cases and measurement defined. Driving continuous enhancements and improvements as required
Education and Experience
  • 5-10 years of relevant technical and business work experience.
  • Good Knowledge and proven experience in HR process and HR enterprise platforms (SuccessFactory, Workday etc.)
  • Proven track record and experiences in the following HR domains
  • Time & Attendance, including access controls and vendor management, Leave Management, Payroll management and integration
  • Proven Knowledge and proven experience in Process Mapping, Process blueprinting and Process simplification is a must
  • Experience in building digital workflows through a suite of internal and/or external off the shelf platforms
  • Lean six sigma/Kanban expertise is a bonus
  • Good Knowledge and proven experience automation/RPA platforms (BluePrism, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, SharePoint)
  • Proven track record in Identifying opportunities for simplifications and digitization of various workflows across the organization, especially in a legacy setup (both process and technology)
  • Ability to engage with functional business leaders, as well as with delivery teams at an operational level
  • Hands-on experience leading such areas end-to-end and track record of delivering results and business value
  • Manage multiple international and/or local vendors
  • Has the experience and cultural awareness required to work effectively with a regional and global team.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
  • Ability to Communicate and inspire confidence with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with organizational change management preferred.
  • Degree in Tech/ Information Systems from tier 1 college.
  • Strong academic background

  • Proficient in English Language (Writing, reading & speaking)
