About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Command Centre Analyst to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of our IT infrastructure and services. You will be part of a team that monitors systems, analyses & responds to alerts and incidents, and supports operational continuity across the organization. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
System Health & Monitoring
Perform health checks as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Conduct post-change health checks (excluding post-change verification).
Attend to monitoring alerts and ensure timely resolution.
Analyze and reduce monitoring alerts to improve efficiency.
Analysis & Continuous Improvement
Perform trend analysis to identify patterns and potential issues.
Identify recurring problems and propose preventive measures.
Suggest and implement prevention initiatives to reduce incident frequency.
Improve and automate detection mechanisms for faster response.
Incident Handling & Recovery
Investigate issues as per commander's instructions.
Assess the impact of alerts and incidents using defined criteria.
Handle problem tickets up to temporary fix as per TSD guidelines.
Perform recovery up to the point of restoration following approved runbooks.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience working in an enterprise storage environment.
Strong hands?on expertise with SAN/NAS technologies, including solutions from Huawei, Brocade, Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, and IBM.
Proficient in multi?platform environments, with working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and AIX operating systems.
Proven experience in investigating, troubleshooting, and managing complex infrastructure?related incidents in mission?critical environments.
Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment, including weekends and public holidays. Office location is based at East side of SG.
