Serve as the first point of contact for IT support, responding to and resolving technical issues from employees regarding hardware, software, and network access in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners).
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems, including onboarding for new hires and offboarding for departing employees.
Assist in the daily maintenance and monitoring of the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Wi-Fi networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Provide support for server hardware and software, including performing routine checks, backups, and applying necessary patches and updates under supervision.
Help maintain network security by managing firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls.
Manage and maintain IT assets by tracking inventory of hardware, software licenses, and other IT equipment.
Assist in the maintenance and support of office systems, such as the IP telephone system, video conferencing equipment, and audio-visual (AV) setups in meeting rooms.
Liaise with and manage external vendors for IT procurement, repairs, and maintenance services.
Create and maintain clear documentation for IT processes, system configurations, and user guides.
Provide basic training and guidance to users on new software, hardware, and IT best practices to promote digital literacy and security awareness.
Support the rollout and implementation of new IT projects and system upgrades as directed by management.
