Together, let\'s redefine possibilities and leave a legacy that echoes for generations.What you will be working on:In this role, you will: \xe2\x80\xa2 Establish and maintain a strategic partnership with departments to gain in-depth insight into business operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the departmental strategic objectives in budgeting, monitoring, financial closing, analysis, and external costing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct business-driven reporting and provide value-added and forward-looking insights to facilitate management\'s financial and operational decision making. This includes analysing financial performance against budget, forecast, prior periods to highlight issues and variances for timely follow-up. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and review cost allocation to assess the efficiency of different cost drivers and optimise resource allocation for informed decision making on resource utilisation and allocation for cost recovery. \xe2\x80\xa2 Offer strategic financial input and advice to meet business needs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Undertake ad hoc projects to support the team, where applicable.What we are looking for:We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Relevant experience in financial planning and analysis including cost management and budgeting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated success in providing strategic financial input and advice to drive business performance and achieve organisational goals. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Working knowledge of SAP HANA budgeting is preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with robotic process automation and data analytics tools would be advantageous. \xe2\x80\xa2 Professional accountancy qualifications are preferred. The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences. Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
