Job description
The Role We are looking for a Senior IT General Manager, an IT Strategist Leader to work alongside with APAC CIO Leadership in Business Transformations and Solutions Technology Modernization, by developing IT Strategy which adopts technologies to maximise business value in alignment with APAC Operating Companies' organisational goals. This is a highly collaborative role, and will work closely with Business Leaderships, Operating Companies CIO, Applications/Technology Delivery Teams. Incumbent will assess the current state of the IT Group, its operations, and services, to develop plans and means to reach its desired end state. Responsibilities ? Drive thought leadership across IT Groups, to develop technology strategy and roadmap that aligns with and supports our business priorities ? Conduct analysis of current operational effectiveness, process, and stakeholders' engagement. Recommendation of future state and define implementation roadmap for technology innovation initiatives with identification of near term and long-term goals/benefits ? Lead and facilitate the design and implementation of approved highly strategic work-streams. Tracks and reports on the strategic efforts to drive continuous improvements. ? Develop Key Performance Indicators to analyse IT Group's Performance ? Evaluates the impact of Industry trends and market forces, works with Senior Business Leadership to evaluate existing strategies annually ? Connects the dots to ensure IT Roadmaps are aligned with overall corporate strategy and expectations ? Direct preparation of IT budgets and proposals for investments. Monitor major investments.
Job Requirements
Desired Skills, Competencies and Personal Traits . 15+ years of relevant experience in IT strategy development within a large-scale corporation or consulting firm, with knowledge of IT Strategy Planning and IT Service Management . Experience in leading teams, executive level engagements and working with senior leadership . Excellent communication abilities, including influencing key stakeholders ranging from C-level executives, MDs, APAC CISO, Applications Architects and Subject Matter Experts

• Demonstrated Business acumen, Organisational skills, and Project Leadership skills . Cultural awareness to lead across different geographical markets
• Experience in people management role, passionate to build and develop high performing teams . A self-starter who takes initiatives, ownership, and desire to learn . Professional communication skills in English and Mandarin . General Domain knowledge in Sales Process, Manufacturing Process and Supply Chains are preferred
