We are seeking a skilled and motivated SCCM Administrator with a strong background in Windows Server administration to join our IT team. The SCCM Administrator will be responsible for the planning, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of our organization\'s System Center Configuration Manager environment, while also contributing to Windows Server-related tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience in SCCM administration, software distribution, patch management, endpoint security, and Windows Server management. The SCCM Administrator will collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure the stability, security, and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure.

  • Design, implement, and manage the SCCM infrastructure to support software deployment, patch management, and endpoint protection.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute software deployment and updates across the organization\'s endpoints.
  • Manage and maintain the SCCM hierarchy, including site servers, distribution points, and client settings.
  • Monitor the SCCM environment for health, performance, and security, taking proactive measures to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement software distribution packages and task sequences.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts and processes for software deployment, updates, and reporting.
  • Perform regular patch management activities, ensuring systems are up to date with the latest security patches and updates.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving SCCM-related issues on both server and client sides.
  • Administer and manage Windows Server environments, including user management, permissions, and security settings.
  • Maintain documentation for SCCM processes, configurations, Windows Server setups, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in SCCM, endpoint management, and Windows Server administration.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as an SCCM Administrator with Windows Server administration experience in enterprise environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of SCCM architecture, components, and configuration.
  • Strong proficiency in software deployment, patch management, task sequencing, and Windows Server administration.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining SCCM collections, queries, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with endpoint security solutions and best practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and Active Directory.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven experience as a Windows Server Administrator in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including various editions (e.g., Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
  • Experience in managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve server-related issues.
