IT Manager

to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the Group's digital future.

Your Impact

As our IT Manager, you will oversee the seamless operation of our systems while driving IT standardization across The Hour Glass Group. You will lead critical IT projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and innovation.

What You Will Lead

1) Management

Drive the IT roadmap, manage key projects and budgets, and implement IT policies and procedures. Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for infrastructure improvements, coordinate audits, and oversee vendor partnerships.

2) Hardware & Software

Maintain comprehensive hardware and software inventories, evaluate device performance, recommend upgrades, manage procurement, and oversee ongoing maintenance and renewals.

3) Infrastructure & Network

Lead the development and enhancement of IT infrastructure. Deploy broadband, firewalls, servers, routers, and workstations, manage firewall and VPN access, and support IT needs during office and store renovations or relocations.

4) Cloud Computing & Data Centre

Drive the implementation of cloud solutions, manage on-premise servers and system patching, lead cloud migration initiatives, and ensure robust data protection and retention practices.

5) IT Operations & Projects

Deliver seamless end-user support, ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations, and lead or support ad hoc IT projects as required.



Entry Requirements

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field, preferably with certifications such as ITIL, CISA, CISM, or CISSP. Minimum 8 years of IT operations experience with strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO, NIST, SOX, COBIT), enterprise architecture, and IT governance. Proven experience in IT security compliance and operations, cybersecurity implementation, system hardening, and security controls across Windows, Unix, and Linux environments. Skilled in network administration, network installation, data centre management, data governance, and managing critical network infrastructure. Strong technical knowledge in IT security solutions, patching, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support for network and security products. Ability to monitor network performance, plan technology refreshes, understand vulnerabilities, and execute incident response. Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and analytical skills; proactive, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task effectively as an independent team player.
