that will oversee the church's information technology operations, ensuring reliable systems, secure networks, and effective digital tools that support ministry, administration, and outreach. This role manages a team of IT staff, and leads projects that enhance organizational efficiency, compliance, and church members' engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Supervise and mentor IT staff and outsourced persons, fostering a collaborative and service-oriented culture.
Develop IT policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with organizational values.
Coordinate IT support for staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders.
Infrastructure & Network Support
Maintain and optimize the church's network, servers, and hardware.
Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery systems are in place.
Oversee IT asset management and procurement.
Software & Systems Management
Support and enhance existing software platforms, including:
+ Customer Management System (iCMS) on Odoo (Python-based).
+ Learning Management System (LMS) for staff and congregation training.
+ Productivity tools (Microsoft 365, collaboration apps). Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve ministry effectiveness.
Project and Contracts Management
Lead IT-related projects such as:
+ Annual Business Meeting (digital systems, AV support, online participation).
+ Implementation and upgrades of iCMS, LMS, and other platforms.
+ Compliance initiatives (e.g., Personal Data Protection Act - PDPA). Collaborate with ministry and operations teams to align IT solutions with organizational goals.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts for cost-effectiveness, service quality, compliance, and SLA performance.
Strategy, Compliance & Governance
Core team member of the ABM working committee and serve as secretariat and liaison for the IT Sub-Committee of the Executive Church Board
Ensure organisation-wide practices comply with PDPA and other relevant regulations.
Develop and enforce data privacy and cybersecurity policies.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
Manage and monitor annual IT budgets, expenses and variances.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of IT management experience, preferably in non-profit or service-oriented organizations.
Proven or preferred experience with Odoo (Python), LMS platforms, and enterprise systems.
Skills & Competencies
Alignment with the church's mission and values.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Expertise in network administration, system integration, and cybersecurity.
Project management experience (Agile or PMP certification preferred).
Budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, vendor and SLA management skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, documentation, and training skills.
* Strong understanding of data protection and compliance (e.g., PDPA), including coordination with DPO and handling audit requirements.
