A top-tier trading firm is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to join its expanding global team. In this role, you'll support, configure and maintain multiple systems across all technology stacks, including desktop environments, network infrastructure and various application platforms.
Responsibilities
In this position, you'll play a crucial role in responding to tech support requests (L1/L2/L3), building and configuring Windows, Linux and macOS laptops, desktops and servers, supporting Windows domain infrastructure, monitoring critical systems and optimise ways of working. You will also be involved in automation initiatives using PowerShell to create scalable solutions.
Requirements
You should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM. You have a strong grounding in information technology and networking principles, complemented by hands-on experience in L1/L2/ L3 support, system administration, programming, or network engineering. Your expertise includes managing Windows Desktop and Server environments in production settings, with a solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other core Windows administration tools. Familiarity with Linux or macOS platforms will be advantageous. You will have strong experience in scripting or programming using PowerShell for Windows or Bash for Linux.
