Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

IT Platform Operation Engineer

with broad technical expertise across multiple infrastructure domains to support enterprise-level ICT services. The successful candidate will play a key role in

delivering and managing infrastructure for Public Service agencies

while ensuring service continuity, scalability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver enterprise-level infrastructure services (network, servers, backup systems, desktops) to Public Service agencies and non-Government entities. Handle and manage

data centre and server room operations

, ensuring continuity of network infrastructure and critical components. Execute new initiatives and enhancements to leverage innovative uses of network and server technologies. Collaborate with team leaders and outsourced service providers to plan, manage, and deliver infrastructure service projects. Work with Government Sector Infra capability centres to design and fit infrastructure solutions. Oversee infrastructure monitoring and maintenance, coordinating with vendors to resolve issues and implement changes. Manage the

full procurement cycle

, from preparing budgets and technical specifications to vendor selection and invoice verification. Develop budget forecasts and track expenditure utilisation. Serve as the

point-of-contact

for infrastructure team on new projects and initiatives. Manage infrastructure services for application systems, collaborating with service consultants, users, and vendors. Support

Architecture Review and Governance

processes to ensure sustainable operations and meet resiliency requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of IT or CIO.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent. 3-5 years of relevant experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-level ICT infrastructure services. Strong technical knowledge of

network and server technologies

, with supporting expertise in

infrastructure security

. Proven experience in ICT Infrastructure management, including

data centre operations, vendor management, and networking concepts

. Prior exposure to

Singapore government IT infrastructure and processes
