Job Description

The intern's primary role is to provide support to the Corporate Distribution Services Team. The key objective of the IT projects is to ensure data integrity prior to migrating Guests, Companies and Travel Agent profiles into the appointed refreshed systems deployed by Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG).

Learning Outcomes:

Gain an understanding of the PPHG Distribution System ecosystem.
Apply the data entry standards for guest profiles.
Develop an in-depth understanding of data integrity and the implications.
Experience the system migration process.
Manage guest profiles for migration into OPERA Cloud Central (OCC).
Manage Channel Manager and Booking Engine into Sabre Central Reservation System (CRS).
Recognise the flow and importance of profiles to the various system users (this will include a cross-exposure opportunity in the Central Reservations Office).

To aid in settling into their roles at PPHG:

Training and constant support and guidance will be provided throughout the internship period.
Comprehension of the knowledge gained will be assessed and regular coaching will be provided to help the intern settle into their role and take away key learnings from their time spent in PPHG.
Professional advice and guidance will be given, so the intern has a holistic experience of exploring the Distribution Services in the hospitality industry and potentially be able to map out their future career plans.
