The IT Security Engineer monitors and assesses the security levels of IT applications developed and/or maintained by India / Singapore. He / shel also participates to IT project reviews from a securi The IT Security Engineer monitors and assesses the security levels of IT applications developed and/or maintained by India / Singapore. He / shel also participates to IT project reviews from a security standpoint. Role and Responsibilities: Working with development teams to ensure IT security compliance with group, business line or territory policies IT Security risk assessment of all assets under the domain's responsibility Keeping records of security inventories such as security risk assessment files, security cartography, application inventory, etc. Coordination with IT teams and other security teams Periodic reporting of security status to Distribution Domain level Review and validate the quality of security evidences before submission to the Security team Responsible to explain to the IT teams within the domain and clarify any security requirements required for each application to submit Responsible to guide the development team on where and how to gather security evidences for their applications Responsible to challenge the security team's requirements to ensure that only applicable requirements are prepared and submitted by the IT teams Your profile: Degree holder with 5+ years of experience Extended knowledge of IT Security concepts (encryption at rest, in transit, networks segmentation, firewalls...) Experience in the IT industry with a strong background in computer operations, software development, and network administration. Experience of Cloud infrastructure (AWS, IBM Cloud...) Knowledge in Project Management. Must be willing to coordinate and chase IT teams and security teams to get the job done. Must be able to handle IT and security teams in a confident, positive and responsive manner. Good communication, technical writing/diagramming skills. Must be motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Must demonstrate ethical responsibility, maturity, and discretion.
