Job Description

Role: IT Security Engineer Duration: Renewable 1 year contract

Primary Purpose
The successful applicant will be maintaining and supporting the IT security of IT infrastructure system, with the support from operation team. This is a challenging and interesting role in the IT industry, which we are looking to fill with an individual who a team-player is willing to adapt to the requirements of the position, which may vary during your time of employment.


Responsibilities

• Support requirement gathering and solution design
• Assist project management on project deliverables like Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), implementation plan, etc.
• Provide the configuration, installation and integration
• Provide the testing and vulnerability remediation (e.g. firmware/software upgrades or minor fixes /patches)
• Provide problem troubleshooting and resolution
• Provide knowledge transfer and handover of implemented security solution to the client and/or operations team
• Provide project documentations for technical design, test cases etc
• Work closely with security governance and audit team to ensure the security services compliance with security standards or industry best practices
• You will also have the opportunity to have hands-on experience in either of the 3 domain areas:

o Firewall Deployment & Management
o Endpoint Security (e.g. Anti-virus)
o Network security (e.g. IPS/IDS, proxy)
o Vulnerability Assessment

[Threat Monitoring]
o SIEM / SOC
o Database Activities Monitoring
o Endpoint Detect and Response
o Automation & Orchestration (e.g. SOAR)

[Access Management]
o Privileged Access & Identity Management
o Private Key Infrastructure
o 2 Factor Authentications


Additional experience it would be great to have:

• Security product certification or security professional certifications
• Hands-on experience in:
• Firewall & Endpoint Security, SIEM and Threat monitoring, Network Security, Access Management, or Networking Routing and Switching
