Prioritize and analyze vulnerabilities (impact & business risk), collaborating for effective mitigation.
Offer strategic guidance on technology, cybersecurity, and policies-related
Lead the enhancement of incident response procedures and processes
Investigate security incidents, document root causes, and suggest remediation
Assess and plan network security policies and assessment of anti-virus, application control, firewall, SIEM, VPN, SSL, intrusion detection/prevention
Manage and configure security systems (e.g. firewall, intrusion detection/prevention system, anti-virus software and other security-related software and hardware)
Monitor and configure security systems for potential threats or suspicious activities
Develop and implement security policies.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weakness and risk to improve the organisation security
Report all security incidents, coordinate response and resolution stratgy
Contribute to security awareness training programs for employees to improve security awareness and best practices
Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and incident strategies
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
5+ years experience in cyber or information security management.
Strong knowledge of latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK, XDR, zero trust, CIS Controls, OWASP, AppSec, CloudSec, NIST, ITIL, Azure framework)
Experience in Cyber Security Operations, Incident Response, Forensic Investigation, Threat Intelligence, or Vulnerability Management preferred.
Proficient in managing security systems, conducting assessments, and responding to incidents.
Understanding of business processes, IT risk management, and related standards.
Proficiency in using industry-standard tools for security tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
Demonstrated history of keeping abreast of evolving cybersecurity threats and best practices.
Preferably holds professional information security certifications like:
CompTIA Security+
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
