Job Description

& Responsibilities:
Develops software solutions by understanding information needs of the Medical Solutions Division business
Advocates and enhances the Agile software development lifecycle
Determines operational feasibility of solution designs by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
Develops documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code
Determines and designs system specifications, standards, and programming
Conducts systems analysis and recommends changes in policies and procedures
Studies state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment. Participates in educational opportunities, reads professional publications, maintains personal networks, and participates in professional organizations
Collects, analyzes, and summarizes development and service issues
Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed
May manage small team of software engineers by providing advice, coaching, mentoring, and assisting to resolve complex technical or design issues Experience Required:
2 - 5 years' experience as an applications developer in private, public, government, or military environments - (large and small projects)
3 years experience with Exact ERP software
2+ years of experience with Lotus Notes applications
2 years of experience with SQL databases Education and Training Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Business, or related field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Primary Skills:
Basic Plsql
Exact ERP
Good Communication Skill
Proficient in Microsoft Project, MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Understand all aspects of software development lifecycle
Understand various SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc.) Additional Skills:
Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills across technical and senior operational management audiences
Ability to manage & mentor the team
Lean/Six Sigma Green belt (or other process improvement disciplines)
Knowledge of microservices development and deployment lifecycle, networking and distributed architecture, security compliance, scalability configurations
Knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 etc.
Familiar with various IT and PM tools - JIRA, RTC etc.
Agile methodologies
ITIL certified (preferred)
Proficiency in one or more of the following areas: UI/UX Design and Development; EAI / API integration using tools like MuleSoft and Oracle Fusion Middleware; Oracle EBS, PL/SQL, Data Analysis, .NET, Content Management Systems and Engineering; Cloud (AWS/Azure), SaaS / PaaS Support and Engineering, CI/CD
Dominos/Lotus Notes
Knowledge of implementing an Upgrade Version 421
VMware
Good understanding of infrastructure.
