This position will serve as an experienced Systems/Network Specialist supporting the U.S. Navy\'s OCONUS Enterprise Network (ONE-Net) in Singapore at the Sembawang Naval Base.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize complex operational designs, develop support plans, coordinate implementations
• Provide second level support for Local Area Network (LAN), Base Area Network (BAN), and Wide Area Network (WAN) solutions encompassing heterogeneous platforms
• Assist information engineers in coding, testing, implementation, and documentation projects
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of Network Operations
• Work with Cyber Security analysts to ensure Enterprise information flow is secure
• Ensures effective and efficient operation of network systems, architecture, and topology
• Monitor to ensure all operating systems are functioning properly and conform to operation security policies and procedures
• Receive and analyze network alerts from various sources within the enterprise and determine possible causes of such alerts
• Track and document incidents from initial detection through final resolution
• Assists with the development and application of business processes to ensure appropriate service levels
• Work within the DevSecOps methodology to plan and support the implementation of new technologies
• Prepare recommendations for resolutions to NetOps challenges based on monitoring results, tools analysis, and/or forensics
• Provide pier-side connect/disconnect service to navy vessels
• Preform fiber optic cable cleaning/testing
• Carry duty phone one week out of three (8 average calls annually)

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Plus 7 years of relevant IT experience.

Certification Requirements:

• DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification (i.e Security+)
• Possess a Cisco Certified Network Associate Certification (CCNA)
• Posses at least one of the following OS certifications:
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or
• Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MDAA) or
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Secret

Desired Qualifications:

• Fiber cabling certification from BICSI, FOA, or ETA International
• Previous experience supporting pier-side connect/disconnect service using either UCA or WPCS solutions

Physical Requirements:

• Requires ability to walk, climb, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist
• Maximum unassisted lift = 50 lbs. Average lift less than 20 lbs
• Exposed to seasonal weather based on geographic region
• Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm
• See details of objects that are more than a few feet away
• See differences between colors, shades, and brightness
• Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects
