SUMMARYThe IT Support Staff / 3D Scanning Technician provides technical support to internal users and clients, prioritizing and escalating helpdesk requests based on how critical they are to business processes. In addition, to set up, deploy, troubleshoot, and IT-related concerns, he/she conducts a site survey and perform 3D scanning services to client sites as per requirement.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESIT Support

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
  • Provide workstation support and resolves issues and problems related to hardware, operating systems, and configuration through troubleshooting and research.
  • Perform workstation installation, upgrades, and back-ups.
  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality.
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
  • Participate in scheduled upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.).
  • Prioritize and update ticket/requests status information.
  • Maintain data integrity and responsible for ensuring and maintaining workstation security in accordance with security standards and best practices.
  • Provide support in handling queries and problems of users and clients through GLPI ticketing System.
3D Scanning
  • Conduct site survey and site inspection of client projects.
  • Prepare and set up client space for actual scanning activity (e.g., camera, lighting, etc.)
  • Perform 3D scanning services to clients as per requirement.
  • Prepare file for final rendering before submission to the responsible unit (e.g., clean up scanned file and ensure accurate tagging, labeling, etc.).
  • Ensure maintenance, monitoring, and care of the 3D scanner equipment.
Administrative duties
  • Prepare and submit regular reports as scheduled on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Adhere to the system of internal control, processes, and standards based on the guidelines set forth by the organization.
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Perform other tasks or duties that are deemed fit by management from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's / College Degree in Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
  • Possess at least 1-2 years of relevant technical support experience.
  • Experience in a technical support role.
  • Familiarity with relevant computer software and hardware programs
  • Experience working with various operating systems
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
  • Possess a strong understanding of technology and technology products and services.
  • Willing to do fieldwork and be assigned on a shifting schedule.
