We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level support for hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux) and business applications.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
Set up and support printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
Maintain and update asset inventory for IT equipment.
Assist users with account setup, password resets, and software installations.
Support video conferencing tools and meeting room technology.
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and escalate when necessary.
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Provide excellent customer service and training to end-users.
Document technical issues and solutions in the ticketing system.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1-3 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk role.
Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
Solid understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCSA, or ITIL Foundation.
Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, JIRA, or Freshdesk.
Knowledge of virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
Working Conditions:
On-site role (with occasional remote support, if required).
May require after-hours or weekend support during emergencies or scheduled maintenance.
Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.

Pay: $2,600.00 - $3,100.00 per month
